Micronized Silica

In fact, it is a very fine powder obtained by grinding high-purity quartz mineral. Due to its unique physical and chemical properties, it is considered one of the most vital fillers in advanced industries. With its high hardness (7 on the Mohs scale), excellent thermal resistance and very low coefficient of thermal expansion, this material plays a key role in improving the mechanical and chemical properties of products such as industrial paints, anti-corrosion coatings, epoxy resins and various polymer concretes. The uniform distribution of particles in micron dimensions makes this material act not only as a cheap filler, but also as a functional additive to increase structural strength and improve wear resistance.

In addition to industrial applications, the micronized silica production process requires high technical precision in the granulation and impurity control section to be efficient for industries such as ceramics, porcelain, and electronics. From an industrial marketing and sales perspective, the emphasis on “chemical purity” and “particle size distribution” are key competitive advantages, as these parameters directly affect the viscosity and final quality of the customer’s product. In specialized markets, suppliers create high added value for upstream industries by providing accurate laboratory analyses (such as XRF analysis and laser granulation) and establish their position as a technical and reliable supplier.
